MetroHacks, the sister event to ACP MetroCon, is expected to be one of the biggest hackathons ever hosted in the DFW Metroplex. It will be a beginner-friendly, 24-hour virtual hackathon with a focus on applying cutting-edge technology in real apps. Talented students from all across the world will be attending talks, workshops, and of course building incredible, world-changing technology for social good and innovative change. From web apps to mobile apps to trend analysis, you can develop whatever you want at MetroHacks!

What is MetroHacks?

At MetroHacks, individual hackers or teams will spend 24 hours working on a software or hardware project. You have complete control: make whatever you want, with whatever you want.

When is MetroHacks?

MetroHacks will be a 24-hour, virtual hackathon starting November 21 @ 9AM CST

Can I attend?

Yes! Anyone is allowed to register, and we’ll even send you a free Amazon gift card if you register!

How will teams work?

Teams willl be up to 4 people. You can form your team before registering or find teammates during the hackathon!

What if I don’t have a team?

No worries! MetroHacks will have team forming events to help you find teammates!

How will I receive my free Amazon gift card?

We send you an email with your gift card if you:

○ Attend at least 75% of the workshops
